OCD therapist

Training: Natalie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2023 and is currently a third-year doctoral student at Roberts Wesleyan University pursuing a degree in both clinical and school psychology. She recently completed her practicum placement at Westside Psychological Services and looks forward to continuing her training while developing specialized expertise. Her training has emphasized the importance of pairing evidence-based practice with genuine human connection, allowing her to provide care that is both scientifically informed and deeply compassionate.

Clinical expertise: Natalie’s therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based treatments, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while thoughtfully integrating principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to create an individualized treatment experience. Natalie believes that therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. By combining practical, evidence-based strategies with flexibility and curiosity, Natalie works with clients to foster meaningful, lasting change.

Diversity and Inclusion: Natalie is committed to creating a therapeutic environment where every individual feels welcomed, respected, and heard. She views multicultural humility as an ongoing process of learning, reflection, and growth, recognizing that each person's identity and lived experiences shape how they navigate the world. Through continual self-reflection, advocacy, and openness, Natalie strives to provide an inclusive space where clients can safely explore their identities and experiences, knowing they will be met with empathy, respect, and genuine curiosity.

Approach: Empathy is at the heart of Natalie’s approach to both therapy and life. She recognizes that meaningful growth often requires facing experiences, thoughts, and emotions that can feel uncomfortable or overwhelming. Rather than asking clients to face those challenges alone, Natalie is dedicated to walking alongside them with compassion, patience, and understanding. Using a strengths-based perspective, Natalie aims to help clients recognize their resilience while collaboratively working toward goals aligned with their values and aspirations. Natalie believes that when people feel truly understood and supported, they are better able to build confidence and move toward creating a meaningful life.

Ages: Natalie treats children, adolescents, and adults.
